Effective

Ghost Zero Sports is software run by Ghost Zero Systems of Utah ("we," "us"). It helps amateur sports leagues and clubs sell sponsorships and accept donations. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with. We collect as little as we can.

1. What we collect

League and club admins. Name, email, role, and the league's name, logo, settings and payout split. You log in by a link we email you, so we do not store a password.

Players. The league gives us the minimum needed to show a player and track their credit, usually a name or display name, the team, and the credit balance. Each player gets a personal link instead of an account. We do not ask players for a birth date, address, phone number or photo unless the league adds one, and leagues are told to keep it to what is needed.

Sponsors. Name, email, business name, business details you choose to give, your logo, and the package you bought.

Donors. Name, email, the amount, and whether you want your name shown publicly.

Payments. Stripe processes every payment. Your card number goes straight to Stripe and Ghost Zero Sports never sees or stores it. We receive from Stripe the amount, the date, the last four digits, the card brand and the payment status.

Usage data. Pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you arrived. See section 4.

2. Why we use it

To run the service, take and refund payments, transfer funds to leagues, show approved sponsors, send receipts and account emails, prevent fraud, meet legal and tax duties, and improve the product. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Who we share it with

4. Cookies and analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami do not use cookies. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies, and you can block them in your browser or with Google's opt-out add-on. We need a small number of cookies to keep you logged in and to stop fraud. We do not run Google Analytics on pages reached through a player's personal link, on admin pages, or on any page aimed at children.

5. Children and minors

Leagues may include players under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A player under 13 does not receive a personal link. A parent or guardian receives it instead and manages the child's information. Leagues must not enter a child's information without the consent their parent or guardian has given the league.

If you believe we have information from a child under 13 without a parent's consent, email and we will delete it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep payment and receipt records for 7 years for tax and accounting. We keep other account information while the league's account is open and delete or de-identify it within 12 months after it closes, unless the law requires longer. Sponsor logos are removed from public pages within 30 days after the season ends if the sponsor asks.

7. Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information by emailing. We will answer within 45 days. Some records, such as payment records, must be kept by law. A parent or guardian can make these requests for their child.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you as the law requires if a breach affects you.

9. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will post the new version here and email league admins before it takes effect.
